Jean digs through the snow to gather carrots from the hole in the garden. Tonight the menu is  sweet beautiful homegrown carrots, potatoes and venison steak.

Sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, hot peppers, eggplant, onions, garlic and basil and more.  Do you want to can or freeze some yummy vegetables. We have what you need! Come on out to the farm. P.S. We have started picking the most gorgeous pumpkins we have seen in years!

Picking pickles at Peterson Produce

Yikes, these kids find a way to even enjoy picking pickles. They are the best!

A lot of picking is going on at the farm these days. It is quite challenging. Each day they pick green beans, zucchini, garlic, onions, sweet corn, pickling cucumbers, slicing cucumbers. beets, dill, eggplant, basil and more. We are very proud of our young pickers and totally grateful for the good and cheerful work they do [...]

This garlic is so fresh it snaps when you cut it open. It is a joy to cook with. Unbelievably good tasting. Did I mention it keeps all winter. Come on out, try our garlic and see what you think!

Yikes, every time we turn around something else is ready to pick. Cooking out here has become a joyful thing and eating is an off the chart experience!
