Yikes, every time we turn around something else is ready to pick. Cooking out here has become a joyful thing and eating is an off the chart experience! First run 2009 maple sap cooked into syrup!

John and Mary cooked the first 37 gallons of ”first run” sap collected from the trees at Peterson Produce in Delano. The cooking took three hours and because the first run sap is especially fine Jean bottled the syrup into the really pretty 3D bottles.
