It is incredibly beautiful in and around our greenhouse. Flowers everywhere. Flower tubs, flower baskets, bedding plants. Time to color up your gardens, create flower tubs and baskets. The basil is unbeleivably good this year. We have lettuce leaf basil which has huge yummy leaves …perfect for making pesto. We make many batches of pesto and freeze it in wide mouth 1/2 pint jars. Pesto is one of our family favorites for an easy meal in the winter!  Need basil by the bunch or grocery [...]

Sweet corn is ripe!

Fresh sweet corn every day, shiny crisp and delicious. Doesn’t get any better than that. If you love sweet corn get it from the farm fresh  as nothing can compare to freshly picked sweet corn! June is weed control at the farm

Here we see Jean and her trusty propane flame weeder torching the weeds out of the beautiful garlic field. We will scape the garlic around the June soltice and harvest by July 15. Fresh garlic is unbelievably tasty. Can’t wait to throw some on the grill!

Whoa!  The 20,000 onions are planted in the field behind John and Marys house. Our cheerful helpers were serenaded by the frogs singing in the ponds during the 5 hour onion plant.
