Yikes, in just 8 weeks these kids will be out helpng us plant another 20,000 onions. In June they weed the onions. In July and August they pick and rub clean the onions. When not working with onions they will be busy tending to tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, garlic, peppers, pumpkins and many more wonderful crops of vegetables growing on our farm. Fresh Carrots in February!

Jean digs through the snow to gather carrots from the hole in the garden. Tonight the menu is sweet beautiful homegrown carrots, potatoes and venison steak.
